BOROUGH: It is the oldest and one of the trendiest London’s Markets, mainly for its unspoilt Victorian architecture and its location in “Booming Borough” under the railway as it leaves London Bridge Station. Strangely enough, it is when most of us are asleep and there is little sign of life on the streets, that the Borough Market is at its busiest. A typical wholesale traders day starts at around 2 a.m. Producers from all over the country bring a range of fresh produce to the market, including; fish, meats, vegetables, ciders, cheeses, breads, coffees, cakes and patisseries. In June 2000, Borough Market was one of the top three locations to buy good quality food for London’s food lovers.
